There are a couple of committees that meet locally that you could take part in, these are: Local Committees (councillors and local issues), Ward Panel (police - the local SNTs, councillors and local representatives).
Neighbourhood Plan
This involves setting guidelines and controls for the development of our area.
Local Committees
There are two of these, that meet approximately quarterly, one for each ward.
Currently, the South of our membership will be interested in Sutton South, Cheam and Belmont Local Committee (Fairway, Vincent Avenue, Sunnymede Avenue and Banstead Road South from Pine Walk to Downs Road), the northern members will be interested in the Carshalton and Clockhouse Local Committee. Boundary changes occurring in May 2022 will change the ward structure.

SNT Meeting Opportunities
Meet officers of your SNT, they offer street briefings (for Belmont Ward) and "Drop In Surgeries".
